Welcome to OnLineTraining Open Access courses

The SEND Code of Practice course is now available!

Please register to take part in this course. Your course registration is necessary so that you can use the self-assessment exercise at the end of the course to track your progress over the coming months.

1. SEND Code of Practice 2014 (this version currently in beta test)

This online course has been written to alert those working in education settings to their new duties under Part 3 of the Children and Families Act 2014. The Special Educational Needs and Disability Code of Practice: 0 to 25 years (SEND CoP) is the government’s interpretation of the act, providing definitive guidance to all education providers about these new responsibilities.

2. Working in Partnership with Parents

  • to raise awareness of the needs of parents of children with SEN, the issues they face and how they can be supported
  • to consider how we communicate with and provide information to parents in a number of contexts

Written with the National Parent Partnership Network

All we ask is that you register your interest in these courses so we can gauge use.
